Course Description Electricity must be respected. Thousands suffer from non-fatal accidents every year, with another 600 dying from electrocution. Electricity doesn’t discriminate between beginners and veterans. When you read about a fatality in the newspaper, the victim could as easily be a 30-year veteran or a 30-day rookie. Electricity follows rules. Remember Ohm’s law: If a current can find a path to ground, it will follow that path of least resistance, even if that path is through you. And since electricity follows rules, so should you! If you know the rules and follow those rules, you should be able to keep yourself safe. This course will provide a foundation in this area, but it should be combined with job-related and equipment-related training so you understand all the rules that apply to your situation. Learning Objectives Training Time: 25 minutes Testing Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 35 minutes |
