Learning Objectives 1004NC- LO- 01: Identify important terms, applicable symbols and abbreviations, and concepts related to Handling Numbers and Performing Calculations (HNPC). 1004NC- LO- 02: Identify acceptable techniques for calculating and recording results specific to: 1004NC- LO- 03: Apply the rules (or acceptable techniques) for using significant figures and for rounding numbers in the process of: 1004NC- LO- 04: Given a problem that is related to HNPC, identify potential problems caused by human error resulting from: 1004NC- LO- 05: Identify the appropriate actions to resolve a laboratory problem associated with HNPC resulting from: 1004NC- LO- 06: Identify the importance of HNPC in the pharmaceutical industry with respect to the Safety, Identity, Strength, Purity, and Quality of products. 1004NC- LO- 07: Given examples of HNPC, differentiate between acceptable (good) and unacceptable (poor) practices including: 1004NC- LO- 08: Given a question related to HNPC that could be asked by a new laboratory analyst, provide an answer that is consistent with standard industry and scientific practices. 1004NC- LO- 09: Identify how to properly calculate the molarity of a solution. 1004NC- LO- 10: Identify how to properly calculate the normality of a solution. |
